I believe there were only two imports to the UK of the Alpina version of the 3.0 CSL &quot;batmobile&quot; and in the mid seventies one was occaisionally parked outside our house as my Dad would drive it home from work (at the local BMW dealership).

I went in it several times - once to the Longleat BMW Concours event (don&#039;t know whether t still exists). Fond memories indeed</description>
