I’m a little late on this summary, but there were way too many great examples to miss last week.

1993 Honda NSR 250R MC21 SE For Sale in California – This bike is priced a little on the high side, but it’s titled and registered. Such a great looking machine too!
Honda CBR900RR – 14 Good Looking Example For Sale Right Now! – Turns out the soon-to-be-classic Honda CBR900RR isn’t that rare right now and it was easy to find numerous examples of clean and unmolested bikes. Strike now while they’re still affordable and available!
1997 Ducati 900 SS/SP Supersport: Only 400 Miles! – Well what can I say, this is bike is practically brand new and it’s yellow. What’s not to like?!
1993 Ducati 888 SPO: Yep Another One For Sale! – Building your stable of modern-classic Ducati’s? The 888 SPO should be on your list and here’s another beauty for sale.
A Pair of Classic Yamaha Two-Strokes For Sale: Yamaha RZ350’s – Two RZ350’s for sale right here in the Pacific Northwest.
Surfing the Local CL ads: 1997 Yamaha YZR1000R Thunderace For Sale – This is a random find while surfing my local Craigslist. It’s a fine looking machine and I’m looking into how hard they are to find considering this one has an asking of just under $6k!
1976 BMW 2002: Beautiful Resto-Modified Example For Sale – While I think the price on this one isn’t very palatable, it’s beautiful to look at and well done.
1984 Volkswagen GTi For Sale: Nice and Clean on eBayMotors – Early VW specials like the GTi and Scirocco are heating up in the market as folks my age recall their high school years.
I’m Bored: 2007 Ruf 3400K Coupe 25th Anniversary Edition Coupe – A little outside my wheelhouse for regular postings, this was too delicious not to post. I may have to look in the price segment more often.
1995 BMW 540i M-sport Dinan V8 6-speed blk/blk For Sale – These have always appealed because the S38 is such an expensive motor to maintain and eventually rebuild. You get all the e34 suspension, looks, and wheels but with the simpler and meatier V8 to match.

Wow, what’s not to like about this really clean, enthusiast owned, e34 540i M Sport with every Dinan goodie known to man:

Now I know there are actually some things to nit-pick, like the worn driver’s seat, a few nicks here and there, and that naff Ferrari or Ansa sticker on the back. BUT, consider that this car is going on 13 years old, only has 93k miles, is loaded with Dinan goodness, has 414hp and a sub 5 second 0-60, and is only $13.5k, I think this is a screaming good deal! This better be gone before I get back from vacation or I might have to squeeze it into the budget!!

Update 3.30.08Looks like the car sold in only 12 hours!

2001 BMW 740i Sport: Imola Red with Dinan Upgrades!

I spotted this very rare color combination on a 740i sport over at Roadfly ($19.4k, Florida) and had to post it up:

This Imola Red 740i has an immaculate paint, no exaggerations! The black interior is also perfect, showing no wear on any of the seats. I have all the repair history, with most of the work done at local BMW dealer. This is a unique E38, always garaged, and cared for by BMW enthusiast. Please e-mail me for pictures. The car comes with full sport interior, wide screen navigation, power rear window shades, xenon, power folding side mirrors, etc.

Here are a few of the things that have been replaced since 65k miles or more recent:

-Inspection II completed at BMW dealer
-Water pump + complete cooling system flush
-power steering flushed/replaced
-drive belts
-brake system fluid flush
-spark plugs
-cabin recirculation filters
-air filter + fuel filter
-lower control arm bushings
-valve cover gaskets replaced
-Mobil 1 Etended Performance synthetic oil changes every 4k miles or less
-4 brake discs + pads+ stainless steel brake lines+ calipers in April 07 all from Bavarian Autosport
-Inner wheels, valve covers and brake calipers have been powder-coated and painted same Imola Red as the car

UPGRADES:

-H&R sport springs & Bilstein Sport shocks
-20″ OEM BMW wheels and tires like new(19″ BBS CH wheels also available)
-Bavarian Autosport complete performance brake system(see above for details)
-Dinan air intake, engine software and transmission software
-Dual Magnaflow performance exhaust
-hard wired for radar detector
-real Xenon fog lights with ballasts, matching the xenon headlights
-black kidney grills
-MK4 DVD navigation unit with $190 USA map DVD

That is about all I can remember for now. This E38 runs perfect, does not leak any fluids, and is up to date with all the maintenance.

I’m a total sucker for 740i Sport’s anyway. They have such a great presence and style. But I’ve never seen one in Imola Red before. Very striking car, good luck with the sale!
