I must apologize for the delay, but I’m in Springfield, Missouri this week and the internet at the hotel isn’t stellar. In fact it sucks. And on top of that, I’ve been swamped at work, so there are fewer posts than there have been in previous weeks. I will work harder to make sure I’m better connected on the road in the future.

But without further ado, a summary of posts from other sites I blog on that I hope dancrouchblog.com readers will enjoy:

Euro Spec 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo For Sale – The car pushes some buttons for me: Great color, rare European specification, and great looking upgrade rims.
1985 BMW e24 M635CSi For Sale: aka RARE and Affordable! – This is my pick of the week without a doubt. This low miles, European spec example is a bargain at $16k if it checks out. Other M cars of the period are routinely listed at or over $20k.
1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S ‘Silver Rose’: One of the most Rare 951 Configurations – One of the most sought after configurations amongst Porsche 951 enthusiasts.
1991 Bimota YB8 For Sale with only 1 Mile on the Clock! – It’s a crime this bike was never ridden. But if you need a museum piece for your living room, this would fit the bill nicely!
1994 Honda RVF400 For Sale in San Fran – As you know, I’m a sucker for 400cc gray market bikes!
1993 Ducati Superbike 888 SPO: So Are These Rare or Not? – I’m joking a bit in the title, but it sure seems like these are coming up for sale more often than I’d expect.

I am such a sucker for these 400cc gray market bikes! Good thing those home equity loan letters no longer overflow from the mailbox!!

Here’s a 1994 Honda RVF400 that’s been for sale on the Bay Area Riders Forum (BARF – clever) for some time. But according to his latest post, he might be willing to deal (Update: He’s dropped the price to $6500! This really does sound like a steal!):

1994 Honda RVF400 NC35 CA titled.

$7,500 obo or will trade for NSR250 MC28 or MC21 (plus cash)

specs-

7500KM = 4650 miles
Two Brothers Pipe
Steering Dampner
Rearset Risers
Rear Ride height spacers 10MM
CRG brake and clutch levers
Front steel brake lines
NEW 520 Chain with Sprockets
NEW R&G non-Drilled sliders
Solo seat cowl

Titled and has what appears to be documented maintenance. Plus it’s pure gray market bike sex!

And here’s a 1994 Honda CBR400RR, aka the Baby Blade, on Craigslist San Francisco (do rare bikes just grow on trees down there??):

CBR400rr JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) bike with original Jap Title and California Street title current tags and insurance of course.
The bike is a 9 out of 10 mechanically. Fresh oil (always), recent carb tune and sync, plugs etc… Good brakes, suspension, tires are safe and legal but ready. Stored indoors on Battery Tender but it’s always a good idea to replace your battery every 2 years anyway.
It’s a great bike, fast and controllable, low to the ground so it’s a smaller rider’s dream that can seldom be found for sale in this country; especially in street-legal form.
It’s my girlfriend’s street-ride. She has ridden it on the occasional track day too. WOW, what an incredible little machine!
Has about 12k on it.

Pretty low miles and the bodywork looks original. For $4900, this looks like a total steal with the California title!
